No, you cannot. Using multiple devices with a single account may result in your username and IP address being blocked on the GEN IPTV Premium Subscription. However, you can request an additional connection for an extra fee by contacting the GEN IPTV Support Team.

How much bandwidth does the IPTV stream use?

Our IPTV streams (GEN IPTV) utilize the latest H264 technology, which provides optimal compression and quality. The average stream size is around 8 Mbit. However, when switching channels, the H264 protocol may temporarily spike to load the video, which is why a minimum internet speed of 16 Mbit is recommended, and 30 Mbit for HD channels.

What types of devices are supported by GEN IPTV?

Do I need a satellite to use GEN IPTV?

I’ve uploaded the playlist, but the channels doesn’t work in my Smart TV?
Please ensure that your playlist is functioning correctly by testing it with IPTV Player or VLC Player on a PC. This will help confirm whether the issue is with the playlist or the Smart TV setup.

The channels work in VLC Player, but does not work in SIPTV App?
If you have webOS or Tizen TVs and your streams use multicast, make sure to enable the UDP to HTTP function in the app’s settings. Additionally, check that your router is properly configured to support this setup.

Can an Android TV box device turn my TV into a smart TV?

Yes, an Android TV box can turn your regular TV into a smart TV. It provides access to a wide range of apps from the Google Play Store, making your TV interactive. You can use apps like Gmail, Firefox, Skype, and many others directly on your TV.

Wi-Fi or Ethernet?

We always recommend using an Ethernet connection for your device hardware. It typically provides a more stable and reliable connection compared to Wi-Fi.

What is an Android TV Box?

An Android TV box is essentially a mini PC that runs the Android operating system. It supports various Android apps, including media center applications like XBMC (now known as Kodi), allowing you to stream content, play games, and use other Android features on your TV.

Sometimes when I watch a movie it keeps buffering?

Buffering can occur due to low internet speed or high internet traffic. If you experience buffering, try pressing “pause” for 10-15 seconds and then resume playback. This often helps to alleviate buffering issues by allowing the stream to load more data.

What is Kodi?

Kodi (formerly known as XBMC) is a free and open-source media player software developed by the XBMC Foundation, a non-profit technology consortium. Kodi is available for various operating systems and hardware platforms, and it features a 10-foot user interface designed for use with televisions and remote controls. I keep getting “script errors” in Kodi?

Script errors typically indicate that you may not be connected to the internet or your internet speed might be insufficient. Check your internet connection and speed to resolve the issue.

I see a message in Kodi that says “clear cache” how do I do that?
To clear the cache in Kodi, go to Programs and select Maintenance. In that menu, you will find an option to Clear Cache.

Can I use my iPad/iPhone/Android phone as a remote to control Kodi (XBMC)?
Yes, you can use the XBMC Remote app to control Kodi (formerly XBMC) from your smartphone or tablet. The app provides a convenient keyboard and remote control interface and is available for free.

My playlist is not loading/working anymore. Why?

If your playlist is not loading or working, please submit a ticket to GEN IPTV Support to check if your IP is blocked. If it is, they will unblock it for you.

I’m facing to buffering issues with channels. What is happening?

Buffering issues can be caused by a poor internet connection or router problems. Restart your router and check the device settings for your GEN IPTV Premium subscription. If the problem persists, your ISP might be blocking IPTV traffic. Try using a different ISP connection to see if that resolves the issue.
